I have great news for you. Anybody can succeed in network marketing; this includes teachers, cable technicians, doctors, and musicians. I’m dead serious. Internet marketing 101 is so simple, anybody can succeed and make a lucrative income in this business. Whatever your profession currently is, you have the full capabilities to make your dream income. I have just one piece of advice for you: Keep it simple stupid.
If you haven’t heard that phrase before, I don’t mean to offend you. In fact it’s a phrase of encouragement, because you don’t need intensive training in network marketing. All you need is a set of goals stating why you want to do this, consistent activity and a relentless attitude. Now obviously you’ll need a little bit of training to actually learn the skill that are necessary, but the big picture consists of massive amounts of activity.
Keep it simple stupid. Internet marketing 101 really belongs with the KISS principle. Too many marketers make things so much more complicated than it really is. They need a huge book of scripts that tell them exactly what to say in each prospect conversation they have, attend 5 webinars a week and buy every product made that will “change your life.”
Here comes reality. Network marketing success comes with 2-3 marketing techniques that you really enjoy. You need spend hours every single day doing these tactics and really enjoy the benefits that come with it. You have pick up the phone and call your leads.
But how do you actually start marketing these 2 or 3 techniques and how do yo call leads? This is the time when you connect to webinars that focus primarily on what you need. If you need to learn how to call leads, join webinars that have live sales calls. If you need to learn how to market with social media, join those webinars. The problem with many people is that they spread themselves too thin. Every single webinar sounds like it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Do you want to know why the people hosting the webinar is getting results? They stuck to internet marketing 101 and focused on that particular tactic. If you’re not getting results right now, it’s because you’re not sticking to anything. You may be hopping from business to business thinking the compensation plan or product is going to get you the massive downline. Think again.
I know it’s hard to stay focused especially with the internet shouting all sorts of noise into your ear. It’s hard to resist the raving reviews about a new company or affiliate product, but that’s the true test of who really wants to succeed in network marketing. Always remember the KISS principle as you embark on finding the marketing techniques you really enjoy, because those are the methods that will get you the results you want in the future. It’s not rocket science, it’s internet marketing 101.
